  • Hot Glue

  1. Cut two pieces of decorative papers to measure 3 ½ inches wide by 5 ½ inches long.
  2. Using double-sided tape, stick to the front and back of the booklet, laying flush up against the open edge.
  3. Cut a strip of contrasting decorative paper 1 ¼ inches by 5 ½ inches.
  4. Using double-sided tape, stick it to the binding of the booklet.
  5. Punch out 5 of the die cut flowers and roll the edges to create a 3-D effect. A pencil, paintbrush, or a small dowel will work well for this.
  6. Hot glue flowers on top of each other layering from the largest on the bottom to the smallest on the top. Finish off by adding a small decorative die cut circle as a center. Hot glue two decorative leaves to the backside of the flower.
  7. Find a spot for your flower and hot glue in place.
  8. Stick rhinestones in the flower centers to accent.
  9. Wrap the inside cover with decorative cording and tie in a bow on the front. Secure with hot glue.
  10. Wrap a gel pen with washi tape.
  11. Hot glue a rhinestone to the bottom of the pen to decorate.
  12. Cut a 2 inch piece of black ribbon. Wrap it around the pen, and center to the edge of the back cover of the booklet. Hot glue in place making sure that the pen is secure in the ribbon holder. Be careful not to glue the pen in place.
