Snowflake Lollipop:
- Create your own Snowflake Lollipop with this free how-to series from Beverly's! Kids will love making this fun project during the holidays.
Materials
Construction Paper
Chenille Stems (White and Brights)
Ribbon
Mini Dowel Sticks
Glue
Instructions:
• Cut construction paper to 4” square. Fold as indicated below:
Find the center of the paper on the fold, then fold the paper into thirds in a triangle shape. This involves folding one side over about 1/3 of the way and then folding the other side over to cover the first side. Don't press down on edges yet as it may take a little refolding to get the edges perfectly aligned so you have a perfect triangle. The point is down. Fold in half. Fold in half again. Cut off the top, opposite the point. You're now ready to cut out the snowflake! (A photo of this is included in the downloadable pdf file).
• Cut pattern on both sides for snowflake; unfold
• Twist a white chenille stem with a colorful chenille stem. Coil the twisted stems to create the lollipop, tucking the end in on itself to secure
• Run dowel through a few holes on snowflake for stability. Glue to back
• Glue lollipop to front center of snowflake
• Attach ribbon bow below chenille lollipop
