Kimberly Huckabay

I had shopped Beverly's most of my life. I remember in 1987 when my mom moved us to Rocklin and she was working for Kaiser she would shop at the Auburn Blvd store, in Sacramento. I spent many hours at the pattern viewing table and cutting counter in that store. As an adult, I came into Beverly's on my birthday to feed my bead passion, and I often tease that I left with a job. I wasn't looking for a job at the time but it seemed like a good fit for me, being the crafty girl I am.

I really love helping people find what they need for their crafts and projects. Knowing that I can help schools, moms, and kids is a pretty great feeling. People shop here because we have beautiful things for really great prices. Our customers like that we are a family company. They like that there is a Beverly and that they are supporting the little guy.

I like helping people and creating beautiful things. I love working with color in any area. I consider myself a color expert. I am skilled at finding what people want and helping them with their projects. I am good at breaking it down and making their project "do-able". Many people come in and feel overwhelmed, but I get to help them understand that crafts are fun and easy.

Our customers love coming in to shop because we remember them! They come in and we remember what they like and what project they are currently working on. We know their kids, grandma and mom. We get really excited about their project and want to hear all about it! Our store is amazing. We are a beautiful store that smells good, sounds good, and feels good.
