- Cut a piece of scrapbook paper for the card measuring 6”x12” and fold in half creating a 6”x6” card. Cut a piece of scrapbook paper measuring 5.5”x5.5” to make the mat. Using scrapbook adhesive, stick this piece, centered, to the card base. Set this aside.
- Cut out two 12”x2” pieces of scrapbook paper to make the pinwheel. Using the score board, score and fold the two strips every half inch to create an accordian fold. Either using hot glue or the scrapbooking adhesive, connect the two into a circle and press down in the middle to flatten and hot glue in the center. Once this is dry, glue onto the center of the card.
- Cut out some form of embellishment from scrapbook paper. It can be a heart, an emblem from the paper or even a simple circle and adhere it to the center of the pinwheel.
- To make the scroll, start by cutting a strip of paper approximately 8”x.75”. Starting about an inch from each end, score on the same side, then flip and score a half inch in from each of those lines. Fold to make a banner. Clip in the ends with scissors to create a banner. Write your saying onto the banner and glue into desired location of the card.
