In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area (inside box) spray jar with two coats white. Let dry.
Wrap assorted color rubber bands around jar and place at desired angles.
Cut Foam Brick to 5 1/2" length and trim 3/4" off long side so that it fits inside jar. Hot glue bottom of Brick and insert into jar.
Set paper clips beside Foam Balls as follows: Lg. purple, sm. blue; lg. blue, sm. green; lg. green, sm. purple. Note that paper clips cover the front halves of the Foam Balls. (None are on the back.)
For the first Ball, insert about 1/4" of one lg. clip into top of Ball with both loops of clip showing. Continue inserting lg. clips, 1/4" apart, going all around Ball. In front of first row of lg. clips, insert second row, staggered, and radiating out from Ball, going all around Ball.
Similarly, insert sm. paper clips in staggered rows, radiating out from Ball, going all around Ball, until center area is filled in.
Repeat process for other two Foam Balls.
For stems, tip each Foam Ball so that paper clips are angled up slightly and insert colored pencil in bottom of each Ball. Remove and apply dot of hot glue to hold. Insert ends of pencils into Foam in jar.
Add any extra lg. green paper clips into top of Foam in jar, to fill area, resembling grass.
