About this Product: Votive candles were traditionally used for religious offerings, but are now considered a staple size in candles. Offered in any color imaginable and often scented, these candles are sure to find there way into endless projects. Each candle measures between 2 to 2-1/2 inches tall and about 1-1/2 inches wide. Votive candles are made with a blend of different waxes that allows the wax to turn into oil. Since it turns into oil this allows the candle to burn for 5 to 8 hours. Today votive candles are used for home use as well as special occasions and events. At weddings or banquets they are often seen scattered among tables to give off a warm glow and pleasant scent.

These votive candles have been poured into 2-1/2in tall weighted glass holders. The poured candle is 1-5/8in. tall and 1-1/2in. wide. Because these candles are pre-poured, they make decorating and use extremely easy. All you have to do is place them, then light them.
